Return Of The Shaman

A one year training program in the ancient shamanic wisdom path to achieve healing plus personal fulfillment.

Participants will meet four times a year (one day each module) to accomplish “The Return of the Shaman Program” with practical assignments between meetings. The program trains students to create a safe, effective, and powerful shaman healing ritual.

You will learn and experience the ancient tradition of power and knowledge working with the energies of Heaven and Earth. We will journey on the medicine person’s path to awaken the healer within. The program will introduce the use of the  ‘Mesa”,  the indigenous healing path  and one of the main practices of  Peruvian Shamanism

You will learn how the Andean shamans access archetypal and energetic realms in order to restore balance, well-being, and abundance to the community.

This program contains the following modules:

Altars and Sacred Space

(10:30 am – 3:00 pm) $150
Walking Your Path with Wisdom and Protection
Students will learn the mythic healer archetypes in Andean Cosmology and how to use shamanic tools and rituals. Students will participate in shamanic journeying:

The Visionary: Archetype and Myth of the Condor
The Warrior: Archetype and Myth of the Puma
The Wise: Archetype and Myth of the Snake

The class will cover diagnosis and treatment in recovering spiritual and psychological well-being. Participants will focus deep in working with their "mesa" (shaman's medicine bundle) which will allow expansion of their spiritual power by working with their shamanic tools.
When we suffer soul loss we can feel a deep void within us and we may experience emotions such as anger, depression, anxiety, and fear. These behaviors can become habitual addictions, and can negatively affect us   emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Students will work in treating two of the most popular ailments in Peruvian Shamanic Medicine : The "Susto" (Fear) and "Chukaque" (Depression).

Cosmology and Rituals

(10:30 am – 3:00 pm) $150
Since ancient times, Andean mysticism has expressed its reverence to nature in various places considered sacred:  mountains, rivers, rain forest and fertile valleys. Shaman bases his sense of time on celestials movements. Certain seasonal rituals performed yearly create a deep connection between man and his natural environment.
Shamanic consciousness teaches us how to integrate the self with the forces of nature as a beautiful and wonderful manifestation of unconditional love and healing energy to the spirit of Mother Earth (Pacha Mama).

x

Archetypes and Divination

(10:30 am – 3:00 pm) $150

Way Of The Visionary

(10:30 am – 3:00 pm) $150
The shaman plays the role of healer in shamanic societies; shamans gain knowledge and power by traversing the axis mundi and bringing back knowledge from the heavens.
Oftentimes the shaman has, or acquires, one or more familiar helping entities in the spirit world; these are often spirits in animal form, spirits of healing plants or (sometimes) those of departed shamans.
A Mesa is the vortex of energy or altar that the shaman uses to interact with the visionary world and with the world of spirits.
The shaman's "Mesa" is composed of objects or "tools" channeled by the spirits or “Apus” during a spiritual journey, or by objects with which the shaman feels a special connection. These objects can be, crystals, flower water, rattles, feathers, bells, etc, which are purified with "Llausas" (breath of energy) which the shaman previously prepares. Creating our mesa is a way of using our visionary ability, magic and intuition.
